Breakdown of Services

Initial Onsite Consultation
No Charge
Try before you buy!!! This is the perfect way to get to know each other and for us, together, to find out what we can do for you. We can talk about your ideas, plans, constraints, timeframe, and budget. If it makes sense, we can sketch out a rough process for getting you to your goal and discuss what we can bring to the table. On-Site Visits $65 / hour, min 1 hour
On-site visits may include planning and designing activities, meeting with vendors, managing vendor activities, etc.

Phone Calls
$35.00 / hr
Communication is key when working on a home renovation project. We encourage you to call anytime with questions you may have. A 1/2 hour minimum applies to any scheduled consultations, discussions, or status meetings.

Back Office Work
$35.00 / hr
Your renovation project may involve tracking down materials, finding vendors, coordinating deliveries and work schedules, and a variety of other activities that don't require travel. While this may be done by your contractors or subcontractors, there are occasions where you may want us to get involved.

Home Buyer Visits
$65 / home (no mileage fee within 15 miles of downtown Asheville)
Having been real estate agents for many years, we've been on a showing or two. It is an exciting time and it can be difficult to take everything in the first time you see a home. That's why we're happy to revisit homes with you for no additional fee. Keep in mind that our fee is not a commission so we can be perfectly objective.

No Surprises!!
You will have your share of surprises during your renovation project and it is our goal not to be one of them (expect to surpass your expectations for service)! Whenever possible, we can discuss anticipated fees before they occur.

Payment
All fees are paid via a prepaid ‘retainer’ collected in advance. An initial $500 retainer fee is recommended. All retainer fees are placed in escrow and belong to the client until services have been rendered. There is an initial minimum commitment of 3 hours ($195) upon the commencement of service. Any funds not applied to services beyond this are completely refundable to our clients.

An ongoing detailed accounting of fees and service descriptions will be provided via a shared Google Sheets document available via your browser. This document will be updated on a per engagement basis. Payments may be made via cash, check, VENMO, or Zelle.

Pricing Philosophy

Every client we have has a unique situation and specific needs. It is impossible for us to offer a 'one size fits all' program that would truly meet the needs of everyone. We strive to provide the best possible value and the greatest degree of flexibility to help our clients get what they need when they need it. To accomplish this, we charge hourly for our contracted services and per home for home buyers' pre-purchase visits
